well the guy that had the car before me had very watered down collant in it, so i replaced it with some green coolent we had in the shed, i though maybe water pump has coroded and isnt pumping water propperly or maybe the thermostat wasnt opening all the way. well if its ment to sit at half think thermo fan is the go

A thermo definetly isn't the go, it takes roughly 2000cfm worth of thermo air to match the stock fan, which is equivilant to 2x decent 12inch fans, which mine has and still sits half way, why fix what ain't broke?

Btw flush your block and use a 50/50 mix of toyota red and distilled water, thats what they run from factory and its a hell of alot better than the random green stuff thats in it, for cooling and anti corrosion properties

alright i might try to flush it and put in better coolant, just hate how the fan comes on every set of taffic lights and takes alot of power away.
