Default speedo sensor wire on jzx81 instrument cluster

    Hi guys,

I have searched far and wide but cant for the life of me find a pinout for either a series two cressida (one with electric speedo) or jzx81. My speedo isn't working and there doesn't seem to be any signal making it from the passenger side plug to the cluster plugs. I really just need to know what pin/wire on the cluster end is the speedo sensor wire, so I can try running a new wire.

This is for an analogue cluster.

    Any help would be appreciated

Signal goes from the cluster TO the passenger side plugs. The cluster originally gets its signal from the speed sensor from the gearbox (in your case the analogue sensor) and then passes it to the ECU via 1 wire.

Make sure the speed sensor line isn't kinked under the car or near the firewall.. I thought jzx81 were all electronic display clusters, shows what I know

There is no continuity from any of the cluster pins to the passenger side plug that has the yellow speed sensor wire. I think this is the reason why it isn't working. If I can get the pinout I could workout which wire on the cluster should be getting this signal
