    Default 1g-gte PCV Valve?

So where is it? Does anyone know if its internal or what?

I think ive found the vaccum line that would be it though neither side seems to attach to anything that resembles a pcv?

Any help or pictues would be nice!

    Thanks Seb

I still have to re-read this to understand it, but this might help?

The problem when a turbocharger is added is that the intake pipe and intake manifold become pressurized. If the fitting on the valve cover is still connected to the pressurized intake pipe it will pressurize the crankcase too. At the same time, the PCV valve will close when pressure is exerted on the top half of the valve, sealing the crankcase. If no modifications are made to the system a pressurized and sealed crankcase will occur when the boost kicks in, this is the worst possible time to have a sealed and pressurized crankcase.

Why not just plug the breather in pre-turbo? That way it's exactly the same as an NA system, , and the manifold still goes into vacuum when off the throttle in a turbo car so the PCV valve would work the same.

I was thinking the same thing have it pre-turbo.

But still wondering why some engines have a valve and some just have a pipe with no valve

Pcv are meant to run with ported vacuum (i think) the only allow air to pass through at cruise and shut if it ressurises or has a backfire, my 1g has a breather pre turbo, does anyone have a diagram of 1g pcv?
