While twin SC14's is not a dumb idea, its not exactly a great idea.
There are much better ways to spend the money.
And if you have the SC14's, or can get them for next to nothing, then sell them, any buy something better.

i've always wanted to run twin sc12's on a 4agze. i know it will mount on the exhaust side.

and like gun said, parrelel into a common inlet manifold via a good intercooler.

i say if you got the space and time for a little fun, do it.

True but SC14s can be found/sold for around $400.....could anything come close for under $1000?

Modify some stock exhaust manifolds, use stock intake, cressida injectors, intercooler if you feel like it, and one of those old school AFC 1's with the knobs for a tiny bit of fuel correction .

How tight is the engine bay?

any other single SC would be better.. even an M90.. and they can be had for similar to one SC14 AND are more efficient

unless you are losing the bonnet, autosalon stylez?

the hassle of brackets x2 plus tensioner, and gettign the belt to track straight and not slip (toothed?) all for 36%?

    who is doing your fabrication?

If its just for burnouts at the nats it'd be cheaper to hook up two washer bottles to your rear wheels

They dont normally have a toothed belt and it wouldnt be catastrophic if they slipped, plus tensioners are easy to rig up...I dont see the problem.

Point taken on the M90 though. If the numbers add up for one of those it will be a better choice.

1UZ alone will be enough power for skids...plus next summernats we'll be putting some steelies on rear for that ultimate summernats bogan appeal.

Well, Im guessing Rorge may be busy on the liberty so I'll likely end up doing most of the work on this one.

Wont be attempting to supercharge it just yet, will get the 1UZ in it and driving again first....then make a decision on which supercharger to go with.

that may work in your favour - it would fail in spectacularly Rorge-like randomness if he just came along and touched it.
