what are you worried about champ?.. once the car is jacked up and on axle stands, remove the lower shock absorber bolt, then loosen off the nut that holds the ball joint to the hub..
seperate the LCA from the hub by giving the side off the hub a smack with a hammer to shock the ball joint loose, then either remove the ball joint (if its the type that can be unbolted) or remove the LCA from the vehicle and go down to your local pedders or suspension place or mechanic and theyll press in a new ball joint for you for cheap cheap
