Hello Guys Im currently swapping 1JZGTE into my MA70 now problem is Ive decided to use the digital dash which has a oil pressure gauge Now since ive converted to SIngle turbo there is a spare Bung in the block is it possible if I get the right adapter to run a oil pressure sensor(7MGTE) from there? also ill be using a LED to monitor the OIL level since digidash doesnt have this feature![]()

Why don't you replace the stock 1JZ oil pressure switch with the 7M oil pressure sensor?
That way you'll be reading pressure from the normal spot.
Cheers

just to clarify I will be doing this due to the fact 1J only came with a low pressure light also since going single turbo ive got that left over port and it would make sense to you it! question is will it be the same pressure reading as the orignal spot as the low oil pressure light?

drift motion sell some sort of kit/fitting/sensor thing to do this... attaches behind air con compressor on the 1jz where the stock oil pressure sensor is...
goto www.driftmotion.com and have a look
oh I see ive got one of those already actually 2 lol but What I would like to know is there any reason that I cannot plug the sensor stright the to block in the spare turbo oil line bung as the hose gets in the way and its started to leak fromt he fitting!

well it should still read oil pressure from there so i dont see why not... its a high pressure location so my opinion is yes but i could be wrong
