    Default jzx83 engine light flashes

my jzx83 is fitted wit a jzx81 front cut. since the conversion the engine light flashes
u can make it throw fault codes & it flashes in a different sequence when the code is cleared it just goes back to constant flashes runing - not runing moving not moving
there is nothing bridged at the diagnosis port in the engine bay what could it be ?

I'm glad you edited your post for spelling, but it's still really hard to understand mate....!

Are you saying that the check engine light is flashing all the time?

You said "u can make it throw fault codes & it flashes in a different sequence", what do you mean by this? Does that mean if you bridge TE1 to E1 in the diagnostic box that you get real error codes displayed out the check engine light?

If so what are the error codes?

Usually when you get an "error" the light is solidly on, not flashing. Flashing would indicate that you either have TE1 or TE2 connected to ground...

    ??

Well that to me that sounds like you have the engine ECU pin "TE1" or "TE2" connected to Ground / Earth...

Below is the pinout for JZX81 Engine ECU.

TE1 is pin 7 on the W plug.
TE2 is pin 15 on the W plug.

    Some suggestions are to...

Use a multimeter to see if either of these wires are connected to ground (Low resistance to ground)...

    Or trace the wires back...

Or remove each of the pins from the W plug to check to see if that fixes it, and then trace back to find out where / why it is connected to ground and rectify...

I would agree with what Wilbo said the constant flashing would suggest you are in "check" mode and the constant flash means everything is ok
