Hi guys.. wanna change out my old spark plug leads as they are getting old.. this is my project car and one day will be a track car (ST165 3sgte) with much more than stock power.
Have aftermarket leads like NGK been proven to be better than stock toyota items?? or they just cheaper?? ive always used NGK and never bought Toyota.
Which is the best option?
Any help would be great. thanks

get custom made jobbies from Performance Ignition Services in Nunawading........they use your old leads, then use the boots etc but put high performance leads in........had them make me up a set for my 18RG and 10 years on they are still perfect........was only $60 but that was way back when.![]()

Toyota used NGK leads on the 2T-Gs, can't be all that bad !![]()
WIth a brand like NGK you should be ok, theres nothing wrong with Toyota leads but some (cheaper) aftermarket ones are definitely poorer quality
