what are they out of? you can do it with some bolts, bits of pipe and ingenuity if you are feeling creative.
I want to get some pistons ceramic coated, but I need to remove the gudgeon pins and conrods first obviously.
Where can I take these to get them pressed out? I'm on the south side of Brisbane, but I've got no idea where to go (I usually do everything myself, but I don't have a press...)
Thanks!

A 5E-FHE, from a Sera. They're press fit and I don't want to damage them...
dumb question but why are you using used pistons? how much will it cost to get them clean enough to ceramic coat? you could maybe even use pistons/pins with fully floating gudgeons for .3 more horsepower.
Because new pistons cost too much and the existing ones are fine to reuse. Ceramic costing costs $44 per piston.
Mate any place with a press can do it, ie. pretty much any workshop.
But they may not be experienced with doing that sort of work and may damage it.
If it were me I would take it to my local engine shop and have them do it. Shouldn't cost you much.
I had my engine done at Chilton's in Woolloongabba. Highly recommended.

Yea, found a workshop that will do it. I'll pick it up tomorrow after work.
