    Default mx83-w5x with electronic speed sensor? possiable?

    as title states will it work?

    im half way through my manual conversion and am abit dumbfounded as to go about this speeedo issue (some of you may not be calling it a issue ) wpuld the cressida sensor just work with the manual or do i have to convert to a cable speedo?

    I don't know if the cressida sensor will work with the w5x, but being an auto sensor my money would be on no rather than yes. But definitely don't need cable speedo, i have w58 in mine with JZX81 dash. Don't know what sensor was used though sorry

    Chances are the MX83 speedo sensor will just screw on to the speedo gear housing, which is exactly how the speedo cable would have connected to the W58.

    If it doesn't (ie, its a bolt on sensor), then you'll need to get a screw on one.

    Even if you went mech how would you connect it to the dash?
