if you are hitting 15psi it would suggest to me that your fuel cut has been removed as it should cut at 14.5psi

if you got the map off the net ask the person that made the map.

i would suggest however though that it has either been raised or removed completely.

if in doubt you should be able to send the map to cihan (http://www.etuner.com.au/) i think his name is and he should be able to tell you.

with the safc (piggyback) as soon as you remove fuel from the map (lean it out) it will raise the boost cut (piggyback = sensor bender). i would assume here that this also applies to your emanage... hence the higher (or removed) boost cut.

iirc boost cut is at 13.5 or something isnt it? pretty sure it was below 1 bar (14.5)

e-manage blue has a "Boost Limiter Cut Settings" table

The below table is just an example, it's not mine, I never used it, etc, etc

Cheap option which has turned out a very good option has been a "Turbotech" ebay ball and spring MBC.. always holds boost well and doesnt spike.. used upto 17psi and was fine.. now using it with a garrett and still no probs.. thought of upgrading to an EBC but only if it makes a significant diff to spool. but doesnt sound like it does..

+1 for turbosmart eboost 2 very easy to set up lets me run close to boost cut on my 1jz. easy to select between different setting, has wastegate control, and its easy to set up. Said it twice cuz its really easy to setup. Tried a manual boost controller ie ball and spring and it was rubbish. Would probably be ok on a car running decent boost and the absolute value isnt important. But if you want close control to a psi thats always the same regards of temps load etc it has to be a EBC.

i got my eboost2 for $300 practically brand new so pretty good price for what you get

    Looks dangerous =P

I'm of the opinion that the best way to fix it boost cut is to remove the TCCS completely.

I didn't have much luck with the simple bleed valve type boost controllers. I've attached a dyno graph from my last car which ran an RB20 fitted with a simple turbosmart bleed valve boost controller, and GT2871R. You can see the dynamic behaviour of the valve as it tries to regulate boost. The spike and subsequent undershoot made a noticable effect on the power output both on the road and the dyno. The graph shows three runs at different boost levels.
