Bit of a sour note to end an awesome day on, but fingers crossed a few tools don't bring hassles down on the club and its future events.
As for the x81s doing skids mine was the only x81 there today and it was not 'in the mix' of all the cars doing skids when we left. My open diff and bald 16" tyres resulted in me spinning a wheel for less than a second but that was all.

Had a good time today to catch up with some familiar faces. Always a good cruise to end the year with.

Didn't mean it as specifically at your car - couldn't tell from a distance so was just a general chassis grouping.

As usual was a great day out, has to be the fastest turnaround we've had from buying a new car to taking it on its first cruise (4 days), and I must say the Soarer handled it with aplomb. Effortless cruise down and back up the F3 -cruise control is a god-send that I have, up until now, been totally devoid of. Weather could have been a bit nicer, and that combined with the semi-slicks made the climb back up Mona Vale Rd on the way home a little timid, but overall it was easily the fastest and most comfortable Megacruise I've been on (think this was number 5). Great to see the Z30s being the dominant species too (I think we totalled 8 if you count Vito bailing at half-time), would have made a great side-by-side photo at Palm Beach if the weather didn't send us packing....still, there's always next time

Big thanks go out to Stitty, Tony, Dav et al for manning the BBQ in less than ideal weather, and hope to see you all in the New Year for the dyno day (for those whom I won't see next weekend at the dinner)

Good cruise guys enjoyed myself. Shame about the weather at the end, but it did make it a fun trip home. Ha Ha. Thanks to the Toymods cruise for the BBQ and the day itself. looking forward to the next one.

    Well awesome day out,

I think we had around the 70ish car mark, not sure if it was the weather and the lack of traffic on the road but everyone seemed to get to North head and up to Mona Vale road really quickly.

Was a shame I couldn't take my car out but was awesome to drive dads MS55.

Great to see some different cars out and about, the liteace was awesome.

There will be some small changes to for next year however only to make it better me thinks.

As for people leaving well it only takes one or two to possibly stuff it for others.

Jizzles from NissanSilvia wanted me to post that they had a great day out and really enjoyed the cruise. If anyone was offended with the way they left it was due to the wet roads, lockers and small traffic gaps.

I will say that I can understand that it was difficult not to turn the tyres whilst leaving Sunday however to the people that felt the need to exaggerate that lose of traction it wasn't appreciated.

Anyway enough of that shit, I'm just glad everyone had a great day out; this is why I run cruises. I hope everyone had a good time at not only this cruise but the cruises through the year and I very much look forward to your company on next years cruises.

Stay tuned for next year’s plans
