    Default 1JZGTE Sump

    Hello Guys

Is is possible to do the sump swap whilst in the car without removal of crossmember? and if I have to remove the cross member what can I use to hold the engine up that wont get in the way as the hoist bottem feet go under the car which sort of block the way plug I doubt I can get it high enough to remove the crossmember

You can use an engine hoist to hold the engine up the top, or you can use an engine support bar, that goes ontop of the engine bay, and stops the engine from falling.

You can build your own support bar or buy one.
