    Default 1jz prob? any help would be great

    Hey guys i have just put a 1jz into my hiace and had it wired but its being weird, ok well i started it this morning and it was idling at bout 2grand then came down to normal, then i turned it off and back on again then the rpm was rampin up and down and dont go back to normal i've been told its a limp mode but im unsure, the van hasn't been drivin at all yet just started! any advise with this problem would be great, cheers Brett.

    check/clean the idle control valve... would be my 1st guess...

    is it a standard ecu and loom?

    +12v ign power to the iscv or iscv is blocked.

    thanks guys, ill look into that tomoz, sounds stupid but where would i find the iscv and wats it look like? and yeah all standard ecu and loom, cheers Brett.

    iscv will be towards the back of the intake manifold, should be connected to a pipe, that goes around the back of the motor and connects to the intake sections for the turbos. It should have a plug on it check if the black/red stripe wire has power to it.
