E-manage/1JZGTE random wires and help please!

So ive purchased a GReddy E-manage blue, support tool and all the bits that come with it. the base(main harness) comes with all the wires required to hook up all the important bits: power, ground, RPM signal, MAP signal and throttle signal. i also have the 2nd harness(ignition) and have put it all together ready to rock and roll.

now, most of it seems pretty strait forward, splice here, cut there, join that etc. etc. the info in the books is very useful and easy enough for even the simplest of minds...mine arrived in japanese so i had to download the manuals from the Greddy website. now in saying that i have a few odd pages in the japanese manual that are not in the english version and its got me stuck.

1st off is this wire on the main harness. it grey in colour and ive got no clue where is goes. looking at what i have im guessing it could have something to do with the throttle control??


next problem is this little device. its a resistor in a box. it came with the EMB and im not sure if i need to use it or not. i know by looking at the diagrams i have it seems to have something to do with the MAP wires but im not sure if its required.

just jump on supraforums and ask hockysa cuz he just had threads a couple of weeks ago as he did the same thing and got it all sussed out.

at a guess , TRC?
not sure myself if Z30 had it though.
mine didnt.
Remeber when wiring my adaptronic up. Being that TRC used throttle solenoind and map to cut ? we just dismissed it as i didnt have it.

had a quick look on supraforums and he was talking about the injector harness.. ive got that sussed out. the grey wire im trying to suss is on the main harness, and the resistor in the diagram seems to go between the earth and the Map sensor signal... what would it do?

The resistor is a Mazda thing, so you can ignore it

And the below shows were to wire "Th" the grey wire for the throttle
