i have brand new never used speed source 3sgte both gen 2 and gen 3 top feed fuel rail .bolts strait on.
to match top feed venom 3sgte 720cc injectors new as well .these plug staight in to factory harnes thee right imp.

note: these brackets were designed for WRX injectors (they flow in the ~800cc/min range when you remove the caps) which are about 1cm shorter than standard denso top feeders.
for either rail, i used the original ends of the stock fuel rail, cut off and sealed to the injectors as seating cups:

yeh i realise the st162 rail can be fitted, but as far as i know noone make's the brackets to buy. which dumbfound's me, as they make topefeed rails for $300odd when it'd be so much easier to design bracket's to fit the st162 rail.
it's a project i've been thinking abvout(just picked up some 7mgte inj's) but have yet to make nice fitting bracket's etc.
and i dont think sandman is of the type to make his own, tho i could be wrong.
i used simple 2"x2" leg 6061 angle. the steel yard even gave it to me for free because the piece was so small (but still 3ft long). 6 cuts, 6 holes later it's on the car.
it's a tiny amount of work for the $295 saved (the rail cost me $5 from the pick n pull).
cool. and does it hold there/push down firmly so it seals well for forced ind?
should add that the gen2 3sge fuel rail's are the same as the st162, with the CSI feed in a diff spot. i've got 3 of the rail's at home, but been lazy and havent worked out how to fit, but that bracket looks simple enough, cheers.
yup. when you measure for injector height, just subtract 2mm for o-ring crush. i ran the 5sfe rail for 2 years without an issue. the 3sge rail is even easier to get right.
cheers jonathan, u r right, i am not interested because i have just spent several thousand on her recently and my pockets arnt that deep and i dont have another drive car so i am trying to make something bolt straight in....its all useful info but im after gen 3 injectors that will fit in the rail....or supra 550s
what will fit in the fuel rails, i can always change the wiring harness connectors...
have you searched ebay stores for sard 800's?? or sard 550's??
