Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has run wiring through stainless braided line in hot conditions?
I want to try this because my plastic conduit keeps melting as i guess its a little too close. I cant move the wiring any further away from the rocker cover.
So yeah just seeing if anyone has done this and what results they've had. My only concern is that the plastic on the wire might melt. Would the braided be a good insulator?
Any comments would be great!

you can by heat-shielding in tube form (woven fibre with reflective coating/exterior) from most speed shops. Ideal for insulating stuff near turbos & exhausts.
The exterior braid would get hot and help bake whatever is inside.
