Did you move around the AFM plug at all?
Check for ECU error codes.
Hey, on saturday i drove the car, and all was fine, then tonight went to start it and the car wouldn't start, found it was the positive terminal was loose, reconnected and was fine, drove it for roughly an hour and was fine, turned it off, started it back up about 1hr later and drove it was fine for 10min then started back firing and losing power majorly..
Did you move around the AFM plug at all?
Check for ECU error codes.

you tried tapping the TPS or idle control valve?.. sometimes after a battery change they go abit funny, or yours could be sticking... engine light isnt on or something like that?
MWP, ran perfectly when i drove it for 20min before buying it, let it idle, drove it again etc, RAA said it was fine, drove it home perfectly too, just started happening when the battery came loose, but im thinking it was coincidence.
pandaah, ill have to try that tonight, judging from the fact that putting the better condition cap made her run smoothly makes me think its definately ignition related, ill put the new cap on thurs, and getting new leads today as well. what are the part numbers for the leads?
I'd agree its probably a co-incidence.
Did you get the codes first as MWP suggested? I'd do that before throwing more money on leads and other replacements you may not need.
Westfield Clubman SEi - 4AGE Blacktop, T50
RN90R Hilux XtraCab - VT V6 (yeah yeah) ,4L60-E, 3.583 LSD
wont give me codes..?? im using a paper clip, wires everything lol. i put the car on idle after running it, then jump te1 and e1 and no idle change and no cel?
Its TE2 and E1!
With the car off, bridge those two, then turn on igntion, but dont start the car.
Count the check light flashes.

when you dont start the car and its on on only the cel should be displayed yeah? mine isnt..FML
check that there is a bulb in it. They may have removed it to sell the car so the light wouldn't be on when ppl test drove it
