The wiring couldn't possibly wind up any worse than what the car has now. Imagine Norbie circa 1998 with a hacked 18R-GEU loom, no wiring diagram, no previous experience with EFI, and only green and black wire at his disposal. The results aren't pretty but it works (somehow).

I got a full-length loom from Hitman and it includes the fuse block and relays, and I downloaded a wiring diagram from Haltech's web site which looks straightforward enough, so I don't anticipate any problems with this side of things. Worst case scenario, I'll ship Witzl up here and feed him beer until it's done.

Two weeks? Thats a bit short, i would say budget heaps more if you are going to do it properly. My custom loom for the Haltech took me about 3 weeks to do fully. But then again i guess part of that was rewiring 90% of the car.

i meant he should budget two weeks time for the "ship witzl here and feed him beer until its done" option....

.... rewiring the whole car aint that hard, its only a damn RA23!
    ...... butt scratcher?!

So, how did the wiring go?
Did you end up going direct fire/multi coil?
    Sequential injection?

Yeah, about that wiring... I'll get started tomorrow.

The Haltech is getting hooked up to a basically standard 18R-GEU for the time being, so I'm not doing anything fancy - it will be single coil with a distributor and batch-fire injection. Once the uber tractor engine is built I'll upgrade to multi coil and sequential injection, but that's not really necessary just yet.
