need help: No reverse lights RA65

Hey all, for some reason I have no reverse lights in my ra65.
I have checked and replaced the globes, I checked under the car and the reverse switch is connected via 2 wires which join into the body loom just behind the drivers side headlight.

Has anyone got some idea's of what I can try to do to troubleshoot it?

It has a 1ggte + w58 if that might make any difference.

Check if power is getting to the body/engine side of the loom where the reverse sensor plugs in. Do this with the key turned to run

If that is good:

Check the switch with a multimeter for continuity or resistance - test it with the car in N and test it with the car in R. Put one pin on each wire of the plug. If there is no change then you know the switch is fubar'd

I sorted it out
Where it plugs into the body loom, the wire pin had come out of the clip.
