    How do you check/ top up the oil and what oil should I use

    There is a plug that screws into the left hand side of the gearbox that you unscrew to check the level. When you unscrew the plug oil should dribble out if it is full. If oil doesn't come out you should be able to stick the end of your little finger in the hole to see how low the level is. Use 75W80 or 80W oil. If you use oil any thicker than 80W you will have trouble changing gears in cold weather until the oil warms up.
    You fill it up through the hole on the side with a pump.
