    Hi,

    LHD?

The RA25/TA27 were JDM only, so they'd only be built as RHD vehicles.

no there were no TA27 LHD , yes my car is a RHD, got it from the wreckers right before it was going to be dismantled. I got the Shaken for export at the time which was something really hard to get then and now when a car is sitting in the yards in japan.

my car I bought in Japan and imported it into the USA. when I got it was missing the RHD steering box. Since then have added watanabe wheels and from inserts not the way I want it slammed. Rare , yup last time I seen one for sale in japan price was about 1,900,000 yen for it was not orginial as mine

I have a tosco seat for it and some other bits but right now I working on selling my KGC110 2dr skyline but every yank in the USA is a HUGE TIRE KICKER looking to trade their crap box.

Here is another type of adjustable height suspension spring for the rears of live axle diffs.
    http://www.ajps.com.au/parts/spring_seat.asp

For the price and amount of work you have to do, it's definitely worth it.

All the more reason why I wouldn't mod the TA27 at all - assuming it's a legit JDM GT version - and especially if it's the 73 model. I have an RA25GT and trust me, if there were stacks about the place I'd modify mine, but being so rare they are collectables.

Yes, I know of the 25 in the USA. It's a reddish GT version, and was initially used/owned by the son of a Toyota importer, and IIRC, it's a 74/75 model. I think the guy who owns it now is called Rodney? Anyway, it needs front fenders, and he's been searching for quite some time for a set. Unfortunately only 25/27 and long-nose 22 fenders will fit, and these were JDM specific models and getting these fenders is not an easy task, plus cost a bomb (if you ever do find a set). Maybe he should whack on the short nose 22 front end - not original, but an interesting look and will get it onto the roads (until he can find the proper fenders).

Reason why I stopped driving mine since there are no parts and my windscreen has a crack on it , which I haven't been able to find last time I found a TA27 in japan in 06 price was about 2,200,000Y and it wasn't in the original state it was.

not going to rice it out just making a couple minor enhancement since I would like to take it up for some vintage motor-sports events that are held once i a while .

Yup it is a very very rare car.

still have the original gauges and radio in it .

It shouldn't be. All Celica's from *A20 - *A35 share the same part numbers for Glass and weatherstrip (with differences between trim levels)

So you should be able to find a local RA29 and windscreen and use that. (or aftermarket alternative.)

    Hi,

    Agreed.

The only difference is the tempering and tinting of the glass.

RA24, RA20, RA21 are other USDM variants which will work.
