I was hoping some 1uz guru would read my other post in the engine and driveline conversion section but they didn't, so i have another problem today when i got to drive the ute it likes to stay in overdrive all the time, it'l start in first and then straight to O/D no matter what the the O/D on/off is switched to, I have the MVautos 1.5 shift kit and 2800stall in the tranny and when i shift manually out of first into second it seems to go into overdrive then too. It will manually hold first and maybe 2nd its hard to tell if its 2nd or 3rd. Is there a fault mode that does this O/D thing, i didn't cut any wires that were being used just the ones that went to plugs that were't used in my conversion, then i terminated them with heatshrink etc, i cannot hook up a scanner even if i had one as i didn't install the diag plug in the dash but i do have the enginebay one and have been told i can flash codes out here but not 100% sure how to, will give it a try.
