Default old hilux master cylinder yn57 Q's

    Hi guys,
Firstly, I'm sorry that my first post on these forums is so lame.

Ive bought a yn57 2wd xtra cab sr5 hilux ute that I want to fixup for a daily runabout.
    (maybe mod latter)

When i got it the brakes didnt work , so I have kitted the master cylinder and the front calipers(calipers were jammed).

The parts shop sold me the wrong kit for the master cylinder then replaced it with another one ,
and in this time I got the springs and insides mixed up.(multiple sets of springs).

At the moment the back bleeds fine but I can NOT get the fronts to do anything.

Can this be caused by the springs being wrong in the MC? There are short and long springs.
Which way does the second piston go - does the plastic spring swivel go to the back or front?

Or is this a prop valve issue?
Ive tried a few random configs but no luck

    ideas?
    Thanks guys

Looks like I was sold the wrong kit.. and there is no kit listing for the yn57 SR5--

Anyone know if a non SR5 one will fit without dramas?

I don't think the brakes were any different between a SR5 and a standard model. SR5 models just had afew more luxuries like air con, power steering and bucket seats but all the running gear is the same as a base model.
