sorry to bring up an old topic, but by crank pulley, do you mean the harmonic balancer?

they're interchageable.... assuming the aftermarket stuff fits the oem stuff, one would assume it goes both ways

NB: the vvt1 2jz (and quite poissibly the vvy1 1jz) have some pulleys which don't match up

Hydrowater pump and the standard water pump are different. The 4 bolt pully that the 2JZ has is the same as the non hydro water pump on the 1jz such as the soarer.

    So yes but not

OH and obviosly the hydro-water pump on the aristo (2JZGTE)is different from the 4 bolt standard 2JZ/1JZ water pump. The pully on the aristo (2JZ-gte) hydro-water pump is the same as the 1JZ hydro water pump.

SO 1JZ and 2JZ hydro pullies are interchangeable
1JZ and 2JZ NON hydro standard water pump pullies are also interchangeable

But they wont interchange between eact other. hydro to non hydro.

I hop thats clear enough! lol
