AE82 Accessories wire

Hey guys.

First off, i have an AE80/82 corolla.

So, I'm giving installing my own head unit, and ive got everything wired up, except for the accessories. I have found the normal accessories wire, which is Blue with a black stripe, and tested it with my multimeter and nothing came up (and yes, i had the car turned on )

So I decided that I would skip that wire, and just leave it to last.. Once i had everything else wired up, all that was left was that wire. I connected it anyway, with no luck.

The Cigarette lighter is getting power, but i don't know how to get to its wire, so i can splice it, and use it to my advantage.

Now that you know my life story, what I'm asking, is where is the closest, easiest Accessories wire, without having to pull the dash apart?

I've fixed it thanks to Danny40 on TwinCam.

It was a blown fuse in the kickbox.
