The box from my (YN57, 3Y, 1984) Hilux is not on this page and no one has even been able to identfy it with a code. But I do know the ratios:
    3.625
    2.043
    1.394
    1.000
    0.853

So I'd be thrilled if anyone can idientfy it for me.

My 86 hilux with a 3y has a W52 box according to the plate. They are about a 30 mm shorter in the input shaft and bellhousing than a w50.

You can get the details of the dellow site as they specifically refer to it as a lot of people get caught with them by people selling a SUPRA box for conversions.

I'll clean the plate and have another look some time. If it is a w52 I don't get why no one has any info and/or claims not to know ratios & aplications for the w52 (like here for instance)...there must be 11ty bazillion of these in Oz.

There may / may not be some excemptions to the following, but I think its the case.
G series were only behind the L diesels. W series behind all the petrol motors.

R seires were behind 1KZTE 3Litre turbo diesel, and 3.4 V6, and after, I think they all went to the RXXX
