ive heard a bit about "high flowing" if you go that route then the inlet piping, the rear housings the manifolds the front housings all hold you back.
back pressure is a determining factor in making big power SPECIALLY on pump fuel as the heat left in the chambers can cause premature detonation, go for a big single with big exhaust housing
save your money for the cost of getting a pair high flowed it would cost bugger all more to buy a GT35 and then your only at the beginning of your development not the end. forget all your other bits and pieces just make sure you have a GOOD fuel pump and reg and run fat mixtures
i made 334rwkw on a near stock 1j it has some very mild cams. that was on 100L and using aftermarket ECU, best of all it makes 18psi and 200rwkw at under 4500rpm monsta torque!! verry streetable.
close to this power should be doable on pump fuel
my combo is - GT35 ($1675 new from race spec), FMIC ($199 Just jap), headder manifold ($440 ebay) only 3" exhaust and 550cc US injectors
