1j vs 1j vvti max power on stock turbos?

am mot getting any more power out of my stock vvti turbo since fittment of boost controler and pushing 3-4psi more. howevr this is probly due to poor manifold flow than the turbo. currently @ 198rwkw.
Have also owend a non vvti and although not the same mods i prefer the "feel" of the vvti. nut not sure on engine vs engine kwasps

Todd what speeds did you both reach before he began to catch up in 5th?

Also on that graph I'm surprised that the Non VVTI makes heaps more power below the curve, I would have thought the VVTI would since everybody says it has much more power down low and feels better to drive.

sorry i didnt make it very clear, we never used 5th. it ended at the top of 4th. I was trying to say maybe somewhere in 5th gear he might have started to pull on me, but we never got to 5th...
