    Default engine mounts

    hey swapping a 1jzgte into my toyota cresta which has a blown 1ggte i it now =[

    im just wondering if i can use the same mounts instead of goin custom mounts?

    You can buy the jzx81 mounts from toyota at a very reasonable price.

    i believe you will also need the series 2 xmember. but i could be wrong..

    HEAPS easier to source a jzx81 frontcut to start with.

    that way you get the correct mounts, crossmember, sump, brackets, AC lines/condensor, PS lines/resivour, accel cable, heater lines, heater tap, radiator, loom etc etc etc.

    place im buying from rekons everythin is there loom etc just i dnt wanna pay them to 2.5g labour to put in

    If it's not a jzx81 frontcut there will not be all the bits there you need, and you will either have to get custom items fabricated or go sourcing the parts individually. I've done three GX to JX conversions, two were with jzx81 frontcuts which were very easy, the third was starting with an engine/box/loom which I then had to source crossmember, mounts, accel cable, custom PS lines, custom AC lines etc etc etc.
