i used JB weld on mine and it worked sweet with boost.

i never blocked off the middle holes your talking about, only the 2 that the shaft passed through to the outside. make sure you put a nipple on the small vacum pipe underneathe.

What is the purpose of welding the tvis hole? Can't we use them? Can some one please explain?
I'm about to do 4agte, using tvis inlet and plate as well.

Reece: is your fwd or rwd? Top or low mount? What setup? I'm coverting really soon and would apreciate much if I can ask for your help!

Ae86 = rwd fmic search turbo ae86 on YouTube and look for Reece. Car was running sweet as at 161 kw untill I decided to plate the manifold to head as i just had the Mani bolted straight to it. Curiousity for more power got to me.

    Thanks for help

You'll need an ecu to control it?

if you remove the little butterflies and shafts from the 2 halves of the t-vis plate you are left with 2 holes open to the atmoshere. you will clearly see when/if you remove these items. they need to be blocked off.

most people that have done a 4agte utilising the t-vis inlet have removed the t-vis butterflies and shafts. some have left them in to claim better low rpm off boost response.
it would be good to see the same car dynoed with t-vis and no t-vis to see if there is any benifit with or with-out on a 4agte.
