What do people use to cut holes in steel for the usual 2inch gauges?
The obvious answer is a holesaw, but I've noticed that a lot of the gauges are actually a touch bigger than 2 inch, which makes me think that they wouldn't fit into a hole cut by a normal holesaw?
Or is this just to ensure that it's tight?

Heh, do it with a hand held drill if you want it a bit larger than the size on the holesaw.![]()
It's going to be with a hand held drill anyway, so I guess that answers the question!!! :-)
