Maybe look around a wrecking yard and flog one that looks like it will fit?
Hey guys, i need a smaller tensioner pulley in order to fit the nevo.
I know im not the only person to have done this, so can someone tell me specifics of the tensioner they are running with their nevo. (brand, size, where to buy, possibly a part number)
Have tried searching the Gates website for a part number, but since they dont give enough info on spacing theres no way to know if a tensioner will work.
No luck at Repco either, but i was being vauge on the size i wanted.
Any help would be great

i use a 4age/gze timing belt tensioner/idler. space it out with a couple washers and a centering washer in the front and you got a s/c idler/tensioner that works and lasts.
I believe you also have to turn the timing belt tensioner around, so the that back piece is towards the front. I have also heard of people grinding that off, to make it look less weird, which is maybe not a bad idea. Also, remember, that even though the timing belt tensioner has a slotted hole, the tensioner will be bolted down, and you should also have it mounted so that the drive belt applies pressure in the direction that would keep the tensioner secure anyway.
So long and thanks for all the fish!
Cheers 4 the input guys, will try the timing belt tensioner. Luckily i have a spare 1
you can get them from ford i think.Ihave one which i bought from fensport in uk and i'm sure it came in a ford box
4age silvertop idler pulley works a treat to, and you can also change your belt length to suit your old pulley. Those belts slip a bit with age.
it'll only go the one way, and yes cutting the bracket off does look nicer. i used a washer in the front to centralize the slot.
a lot of the uk aw11 owners have had a lot of trouble with these. made of chocolate was one comment i remember reading on a uk forum. hahai bought from fensport in uk
Have tried fitting the timing belt tensioner, unfortunately the bolt isnt long enough for it. Trip 2 the wreckers maybe to find a longer tensioner bolt?
??? i've no problem with the stock bolt length. you havnt spaced it out too far?
only thing i did end up doing on one of my others is weld a larger nut onto the original nut so it stuck out a little more making it easier to get a ring spanner onto.
