Start with basics - check no vacuum/boost leaks, get ECU checked for errors, etc. I'd be paying particular attention to your O2 sensor.
Can you post the graph up? I am not sure what you mean by drops vertically...
The above opinion is just that - my opinion. It is not shared by any business that I am currently or have previously been involved with, nor any of their employee's.

My jza70 1jz also goes under 10 to 1, so that in itself might not be unusual, but it doesn't drop suddenly as you describe. Best post up your graph?

o2 sensor feedback is only used for low load and cruise, when your trying to make power the ECU ignores the sensor feedback, but while on boost they do typically run very rich these engines.

Milo mate, thats how 1J runs like when cruising untill you hit like 4000rpm then it starts to lean out. Exactly what happened when i got it dyno'ed. 160kw's? there serioulsly must be something wrong with it cause that not right. If i find my dyno chart i will show you it.

It is worth remembering that Dyno's are more of a tuning tool than a power measuring tool.

Each dyno will read differently in regards to power.

Dropping off the AFR charts is exactly what most turbo Toyota engines do when they get on boost, so it's not abnormal if you ask me.

160rwkw stock isn't the lowest figure in the world to be honest. Why don't you take it down the 1/4 mile and find out what the MPH is... it's a much better indication of power if you measure he weight of the car (weigh bridge).

    Nothing else...

Still the same since that dyno day (unless you changed a few things on it since you got it off me.)

When i had it, it was FMIC, 3" Exhaust and Twin Dumps from turbos and 11.8psi stock boost.

Wilbo: To the 1/4 mile run you talking about... I would of taken it for a run IF we had a open track down here in Adelaide but we fucking dont cause of our premier.

Off topic, milo yo using the bride seat anychance? clutch still going strong? That reminds me IT COULD be the clutch that is slipping that MIGHT be why its making 160kw.

Noooo dude i wanted that seat lol..

Put that clutch i gave you in and then get it dyno'ed again cause i reakon its slipping on the dyno thats why its getting 160kw's. As i said to you that clutch was slipping after the drift day i went to and i didnt drive it since untill you got it off me. Im suprise the clutch is still hanging there lol.

Remember i still want the flywheel thats in the car now. So let me know when you got it out.
