ok i've managed to re apply the update.
the cable was just abit shoddy, cut it up and re soldered the wires and works fine now
ok from what i've read the problem lies with my modded cable.
need a genuine cable and a laptop with a serial port... do not have either of those *sigh*

ok I just wired it
I/J CH-1 and 2 to #1
I/J CH-3 and 4 to #2
I/J CH-5 and 6 to #3
and it's still the same.
I cleared the map is that the same as zero'ing it?
coz its still lumpy

so it's only lumpy when the injector harness is attached?
there is a little injector test light available.
you plug it into your inj plug and it light up when it fires.
repco has them. they sell it in a pack of 2 or more i think. each having different pins for different cars types.

ok I had a strange idea today and it seems it worked.
I plugged in my ECU without the EMB let the car warm up turned it off.
Plugged the EMB in and now it is fine.
Am I supposed to program something in for cold start? I thought it would use everything from the stock ECU if I don't make adjustments.

ok nvm that last post seems like its all good now.
don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. hope the problem isn't intermittent.
