I don't particularly like the outer runners coming in on a 90 degree angle to the flange...

I messaged the dude and posted in there, no real reply. Guy wasn't interesting in separating bits (all I want is brackets and pulley setup), not interested in paying that much when I don't need most of the parts.

    Twinscrew FTW!

You can pick up the IHI Twinscrew units that come on the Mazda Milenia S for under <$500. Reported to handle 21psi on the 2.3L motor in the Mazda.

    Hard call gun.
The way the sc delivers the power is great fun in a lot of street and hills driving situations.
IHI Twinscrew or an eaton off a benz is a nice technology upgrade cause i agree withg the toyo SC being too old tech and sucky. but you're pretty much breaking your own ground in hooking one up.
Turbo is the obvious sensible answer for most power and track win, basically cause you get to go faster down the straight with uber kw and its tried and true
Comes down to you man. !!
Do you want super power and win for speed or do you want something with some nice street warrior skills thats sort of unique.

Way i see it is you need a ZE, GTE and a high strung 2ZZ adub in the garage for all different conditions.
Then a pristine Black Edition just as the one you don't drive and keep all nice and stuff.

I'd love to have a garage big enough

but to be honest you need a GZE, a 2ZZ, a 3S-GTE and a V6 conversion up the back in the build...

I picked one up about a year ago through the channels, unit cost me $300 in pretty good nick.

Has a 55+mm throttle body on the back of it and has a 1:3 geared snout on it, you could probably get away with a 1:1 or 1:1.2 belt ratio with it on the 4A. I was hoping to use it on my 4AGE without an intercooler and run around 4 - 6psi of boost but I've decided 3L of V6 is going to be more fun and reliable.

Occasionally i get a silly idea to put the twinscrew on a 5EFE

How about water injection before the supercharger?

I ran it for a while and it didn't seem to do any damage and it should stop the teflon* overheating.

    * - Still yet to be convinced that it is actually teflon

can you build combo motors - 7afe block, 20v heads or something?

(after reading the post about needing the 3 aw11's, zz, age etc)

I'd like to see someone waste* some money building that, 1.8 litre block, forgies, 20v head, angry cams, disco potatie.. if that's do-able..

*could maybe do 2zz for same price, ror
