    Default Gizzmo Li2 ( launch interface )

for those who dont know "
For those considering the BEE-R Power builder Rev Limitter, it offers two user adjustable rpm limits. Any limit set above the engines factory rpm limiter will be ineffective. For example if your car has a factory limit of 6800rpm, setting the BEE-R to 7500rpm will not remove the factory ECU's 6800rpm limiter. This means for the BEE-R to have any impact you would have to set the limit lower than stock. The primary use for this device then becomes the lower rpm limit. And this is where the Gizzmo comes in. The BEE-R uses a sequence of misfires where the spark is eliminated in a pattern that holds rpms constant. This can be very damaging to oil pumps due to violent crankshaft torsional vibrations. The old Gizzmo G0913 uses an almost identical aproach, the new Gizzmo G0914 uses ignition retard to acheive a better outcome. Adjusted correctly the G0914 will retard ignition timing far enough to control rpms with very few misfire events, working in the exact same way as anti-lag, helping to build boost on turbo-motors, and is much kinder to oil pumps. This unit allows the driver to launch the car at full throttle, full boost, at whatever rpms below the factory limit they choose, without fear of eventually suffering oil pump failure. "

anyone here installed one and how are the results? im pretty keen to try it out..

EXAMPLE - MORE THAN 6 CHANNELS:
Although the LI2 can sort out the Toyota feedback system, the 2JZ Supra requires 7 channels, 6 channels, one for each cylinder + a feedback channel = 7 channels which it cannot accommodate.

does the 1jz use 7 channels also?

    cheers

although if it works then its a fairly cheap hardcut limiter, apposed to one inbuilt in an ecu

as its late i may have misread that, but does it say "we fucked up the first one but this one should work"?

im not sure i would feel totally confident using this device.. sounds like engine murder waiting to happen..

Considering one is the BEE R product, and one comes from Gizzmo, I think you misread it

doesnt this say they copied the bee r one?

Maybe "we copied someone else's idea then realised it was crap" would have been a more accurate statement?

    That sounds more correct.
