Car: AE82 w/ Bigport that has been semi-stripped for the track.
Problem: No power to fuel pump/car won't start. Checked relay/fuse, all is fine. Hooked fuel pump straight up to battery and works like a charm. Car has had lots removed (lower half of dash, most trims, carpets, aircon, etc), everything else seems to work fine.
Question: Anybody know where the wiring for the fuel pump runs after it goes into the loom running down the drivers side of the car? I'm assuming part of the loom has been removed but absolutely no idea which bit. If nobody knows, I'll just run it off a relay and triggered by the ECU.
Cheers
The above opinion is just that - my opinion. It is not shared by any business that I am currently or have previously been involved with, nor any of their employee's.
All solved, relay BEHIND the ECU wasn't completely plugged in.
AE82 Twinky = $1500. Slight mods/weight reduction/tyres = $1000. Watching your stock-engined $2500 car with almost 450k kms beat brand new M3's and Boxsters by 5 or more seconds around a sub-minute track = priceless.
