    Default Widening Stockies

Hey guys ive put my stockies back on the TA23 and they really look well not horrible but i just dont like them. The car is being lowered by about 3-4inches soon and i wanted the stockie look but with a bit more flare.

So basically im after any companies you know that can widen my wheels.

    Thanks Heaps

Theres a place in blacktown that can do them. I got my r31 wheels done there. Its at top tyres, however the guy is only there a few days a week.

yeah its pretty common price. i think i payed that.

If done properly, it will involve getting a new outer rim and then welding.

Do you mean Morton & May Wheels at Warwick farm on 96017000, they widened some wheels for me years ago and it was first class.

Yeah they are fine. Just as good as a factory steel wheel.

    Hi,

I'm also looking at getting some spare steelies widened.

I rang Mortan and May, and they quoted $175 per wheel, to widen them to 8 inches in whatever offset I want, as well as "deep dish" them by turning my 14 inch rims into 15inch ones at the same time.

Hmm how soon you want to get these done river? Do you think he would give them to us at a better price if we went together?

Would you be up for that?

    Hi,

    Sure.

I just got to get mine measured up so I can give them the proper offsets so they fit nice and snug, without scrubbing.

River ive rung these guys at Top Tyres up they told me the guy that does their wheel widening wont be there till next week.

Will you have everything together by then? I'll be driving my TA23 down so i can get an exact fitment. Ill have a 2 spares in the back so i can drive it home again. I'll pick you up if you like or we can drive down together?
