if so, then rubber-isolated mounting of these pumps might also be a good idea

    Not in Strad's case...

If his plans are still the way they use to be, in cabin noise is of no concern as he'll be heading in a straight line at big speeds in a short timeframe.

    Yup, twentyEight is right.

I could give two penneths worth of shit about the noise in the cabin

That said, I have two rubber mounted brackets for these things anyway.

And a VL turbo fuel pump too. Just for good measure.

Pretty sure a 1 or 2JZ reg will bolt to the 1UZ rail. They work fine and are usually free as they are being used for doorstops.

    ^^^ This man speaks truth

The stock FPR will be fine really, but a SARD is cheap enough and will work better with decent fittings etc. Being adjustable can help stretch out injectors as you can up the pressure (within reason) and squeeze a bit more from them....plus my view is you get better atomisation with the pressure upped a bit.

Malpassi do great regs for low pressure carbie stuff but essentially the same design seems quite shit once you apply it to EFI for some reason?

whats everyone think of the turbosmart regs? i have one of them, will be getting tuned soon

    edit:

it's one of these 600hp jobs, overkill for what I need but hey it was reasonably cheap and easy to adjust and even has a ricey gauge on it!
