i would imagine not.. as they are different floor pans.. you have a rear diff, and a fuel tank in a different position...
maybe a double stock sway bar??
Hey everyone,
I'm sourcing out a rear sway bar for my celica and i was wondering if a gt4 BTR29 sway bar would fit my st184 celica sx
Thanks

No it wont fit.
Completely different rear-ends.

it has one stock, in this very section there is a 'double' sway bar for cressida's
maybe you could double up on the stock one?
If you want another stock one, there's one at my place that i'm just going to throw out.
postage cost & it's yours.
Though I think doubling it up would be an issue with the mount onto the strut because of the extra long vertical links.
I think it would be easier for me to try source out a whiteline/selby one, thanks for the offer though I do appreciate it![]()

thought about making your own??
you need, an oxy.. a length of hollow spring steel.. and a template like your old sway bar.. heat it up.. bend it all, flaten the ends, dripp them... send it out to get tempered and powder coated...
it's not simple.. but it's not out of the relm of possibilities!
Interesting suggestion. I don't unfortunately have a source to a oxy gun.
I'll definitely look into it thanks heaps![]()

I thought whiteline actually supplied a front sway bar for the ST184s?
Being a front wheel drive it needs a completely different suspension set-up to a GT4

postage might cost a bit from some, but since it looks like whiteline don't make them you might have to fork out.
Also try k-mac as they make custom swaybars. You could just give them a standard one and tell them you want it X diameter and they can make it
Postage from the one in america was $429 alone hahaha
Thanks for the option though I do appreciate it
