Just getting back to Berry - from memory there was a cute little lolly shop in this quiet town. This could be the new candy store cruise?

Also, a couple of months ago we went MTB-ing at this awesome single track at Yarramundi (Hawkesbury Road, Blue Mountains area). The roads leading there were very twisty and tree lined. Could be worth checking out Craig...

I can't remember the name of the shop but it was attached to another building that sold cheese, teas, wines, jams and the rest of the things grandparents make.

I also like Finney's suggestion of Terrigal and fish and chips. I remember going on a cruise there many years ago and running up that big hill and feeling sick afterwards from exhaustion. Cruises up to the Central Coast would best be done in the summer time I reckon.

That's it Craig. Yarramundi is located further down that road for some awesome dirt biking. Just looking at whereis.com, looks like you can continue on (Springwood Road) to Castlereagh Road into Richmond/Windsor and back to the west siiiide. Might be worthwhile taking a drive out there to scout for places to stop and things to see/do.

Whilst we're still in the Blue Mountains area, I'd just like to put in another vote for the Apple Bar in Bilpin (2488 Bells Line of Rd, Bilpin NSW 2758). It's a cute little pizza place with a massive open flame fire place inside. The food was pretty noice and they also serve cold beer. Here is a snippet from a review some one posted on eatability.com:

"The Apple Bar got a pretty good review in the SMH Good Food Guide so we made a special trip up to Bilpin in the Blue Mountains on an sensational Sydney autumn afternoon to see if it delivered the goods. I must admit we'd called by here a few weeks before at 5 on a Friday afternoon and were turned away as it was booked out. Another good sign we thought. Not taking chances we booked this time for a late Saturday lunch and luckily we did because at 2:30 it was almost packed.

This place oozes character. A bar with beer taps as you walk in the door (Coopers Ale on tap no less!), the smokey smell of the wood-fired pizza oven and the dappled light of a late autumn sun dancing in off the tall trees nearby
    "

^^^ My stomach is churning already

So there is a candy store there after all? Glad to hear it. The one I was thinking of was located in Berrima. I knew it started with a B
