Hi,
Good to see it was, as usual, a great weekend. I think there were plenty of Toymodders at the event, judging by the posts of people who attended.
The Easter weekend is hard for me to get to, due to family commitments. And, if I did get there (like I did a few years ago), I'd have to leave for back home on the Sunday morning.
Still, I keep promising myself I'd go back there again, as I did have a good time when I was there. Maybe next year, now that I've got Trini just about completed, I'll have a decent car to take.
Love the pics and vids.

Plenty of people that are on this forum, not so many who are actually Toymodders first (ie club members).
It just seems to me that there was such a whinge about the drags going a couple of years ago, a lot of effort from the organisers went back into getting them back (I know the location isn't ideal), but that effort wasn't really rewarded by those who complained, but the effort is appreciated by those who were there.

The comment is also more related to Sydney based forum & club members IMO. 2007 we headed up with probably 20-25 cars from Blacktown Maccas, this year we had only 6 cars. And arguably the event minus lower attendance was far greater then any previous year due to having more activities organised.
Yeah it was a rush for people to get to the Khana but anyone competing would of done it again as they had a ball.
If in doubt power out
From someone who couldn't make it and had no carto enjoy the well run events anyways, i have heard nothing but good things.
So even though i wasn't there i still say thanks to the team that did the hard work and earn't the positive feedback.
Hopefully people take note of how great those attending thought the new format was and we see the same again next year with bigger numbers![]()

Well NSW anyway.
I was a little confused about the scrutineering for the motorkhana not taking place at the show 'n shine like was originally thought, but then a few of us changed wheels in between anyway.
Having daylight saving still on, and a full day of sun did mean we could run a little later this year.
All in all, very well organised to squeeze everything in, and next year will be bigger and better, especially with the 35th anniversary falling on a long weekend with an extra day![]()

hi steve, i thought the scrutineering was meant to be done at show? it was the plan, dubbo city car club checkd all the drag cars at the show, so i think the kana guys cheatd a little n, matched lists n did the rest at the kana.
results will be up within next 2wks
glad to see every1 had fun, it was a busy wkend for sum of us, but all good, STILL HAD FUN.
cant wait for next year, show n shine n dyno on saturday, kana all day sunday, n drags on monday. big wkend plannd, START SAVING NOW...
keen to see the detailed results of both the motorkhana and drags, was hard to gauge where people were at during the day (for obvious reasons, this is not a critique of how the event was held)
Have put up another angle of Ross' race below:

should have some more in-car footage of the khana shortly, though its a bit hard to follow the horizon swinging around all over the place.

Chewed those Federals up good Shane? They smoked pretty good on the burnouts at the drags.
