I think the GT8's attitude has something to do with the number of Nm's its putting down at that particular moment

I meant whatever it is hanging out the bottom of your car, not the squatting

ah i see...that's what you have to live with trying to stuff a 4litre V8 where a 2litre 4cyl used to live.

In hindsight i probably didn't have to sit the engine that low but it does do wonders for center of gravity. It lines up with the front wheel line so speed humps aren't an issue but dirt roads with a center hump ara no no...not that this car see much dirt road anyways

of course not, it's not like it was based on a rally car or something

I figured it might be part of that 1uz, but wanted to check

It's not as low as it looks in the pics, the undercar shadow makes it a bit deceptive. Mostly what you can see is the engine 'cradle' which ties the front end of the car together and supports the engine. You can also see the exhausts which were a real bitch to snake out in a fashion that would keep the authorities happy.

Those photos of the 1UZ in action are fantastic! I really do love the gold rims on it, congrats on the timesheet too Justen, looks like everyone had heaps of fun.

I get pretty much 50:50 on whether the gold or silver rims look the best...i like both but each set does give the car a very different look.
