yeah, that one's nice. Be better without the TRD badge though

I'm running an black RT142 one, which is a great factory look, and fairly heavy. Bit worn though.

What's something like that one cost? and is it solid, or just like any other 20gram autobarn shifter?

pfft, thats an easy 10hp with the badge!

Yeah finding a good factory knob is a little difficult and most I saw weren't that heavy.

The TRD ones are around $90 or so for new (if you get lucky on ebay they can be a lot less)

They are quite heavy, although I haven't weight them. I can do if you want.

They go for between $50-$100 on eBay, got a nice weight to them as well (got one on both the AE102 and ST162), heaps better than anything aftermarket.

Leaving physics out of it for a moment, has anyone used this type of selector and did it have any ill effects on the gearbox after a period of use??

The other purpose of this thread was to make people aware of this product for their W series gearboxes as I reckon is is fantastic. No I am not on commission, just an advocate.

    Thanks
thanks for posting, i was considering one of these but wasnt sure of quality etc.
