Default Worth going to 2.5in IC piping???

AW11 4AGZE - Looking at redoing inlet pipe that runs from my IC to the inlet snout.
I currently have an ST205 W2A IC that has 2.75inch outlet which reduces down to 2in pipe to the inlet.
In the future i'll probably end up with a SC14 or turbo so is it worthwhile making all my piping 2.5 inch now.
Is that the size of in/out pipes on SC14?
    Cheers

Not sure on the piping sizes, there has been some discussion in this thread.

As for the SC14 info, here is approximate measured sizes of the stock cast pipes:
    inlet... inside 58mm .. outer 65mm
    outlet... inside 49mm .. outer 57mm
