Mate, just mod the bracket off the gearbox crossmember. The W58 box uses the same gearbox rubber as a Lux. So just cut, move to where you need it, weld it, & abit of paint, and ya there. I think I only put mine down an inch, if I remember. Hope that helps.

wtf? they came with 18r's standard. RN41s have the same engine brackets as ra40s I believe, so it should be a bolt in deal with the right brackets on the 1ggte

just a few pics of the progression of the conversion..

i have the engine/gearbox bolted in now.
have to do : intercooler piping, radiator pluming, pwr steering lines, alternator wiring, ign/fuel wiring, move battery to other side of engine bay, install seats and shorten tailshaft with new yoke thing on the end for new gearbox.
    THanks

oil fitting to get rid of the stock oil cooler for the oil filter which didnt fit

i fully did the front end up as well, doing ball joints, shocks, disc brake conversion.

radiator had the outlets moved to suit the thermostat housing

    engine in

    intercooler piping sorted

dodgy cheap arse bov from the states, only got it becuase it came with the adapter pipe

grill on, fit like a glove after removing small plastic mounts bits in the middle

a MX83 cressida master cylinder fitted, gives more room for the pipe to go into the turbos as the front brake line output goes up instead of into the engine

also did a power steering conversion and used a MX83 cressida pr steering hose and one off a 4 runner for the low pressure side.

another one of the master cylinder.

so thats about it for now (after a day of panic becuase i sliced my hand open on a piece of steel and had 3 stitchers on my index fingers knuckle)
need to get starter motor wired, alternator and the 3 wires for the ecu to get the thing fired up!!
