What engine parts are needed for a 2tg rebuild?

I'm trying to find out how much it will cost to rebuild a 2tg bye adding up prices over various websites, but i forgot that i need to know what parts i need . This include's twin solexs.

What kinda rebuild?
Is this just a you pulled the head off the block and want to put a new HG & timing chain on?
or
Are you going the whole hog: pistons, rods, valves, cams?

70% chance it will be a full rebuild, i just to see what parts i need just in case

Hi,

Full rebuild, stock items, and getting someone like JMR to do it (and he does good work - he has built engines for a numbe rof us) would be approx $2-$2.5k.

To do it yourself will save about $800 - but that assumes you have the knowledge, time, room and tooling to build the engine.
