Whilst the list on my car is short, it's a little expensive & kind of doubtful that will be completed in time:
Buy replacement short motor (should arrive Friday)
Have head serviced
Remove paper weight from engine bay
Install new paper weight into engine bay
refit everything from old paperweight onto new paperweight
burn out clutch because car won't do skids
