hello from greece...

i m trying to colect some info about install a 3sgte st215 from toyota caldina, to my corolla e10 1996...

specially i need info about mounting...

does anyone here droped this engine to this car?

Try www.trademe.co.nz and search for Caldina and you'll find a few that are being wrecked.

You can also try your local toyota dealer.

With trademe if you can pay via paypal you might find someone willing to ship over to Greece if you ask so don't give up. Also try some NZ wreckers as they ship internationally in some cases complete engines.

i m finished with my project...
i have a problem with the gearbox...

i bought from england from mr2 turbo sw20 lsd a gearbox with 45000miles on it. the mr2 was 500hp.
the guy that he sold to me dont know what lsd is it on it...
my car is a modificate corolla and my engine is a caldina 3sgte st215...
all went good...
fix my car myself and it is very fast etc...
BUT...
when i want to turn it is very very noisy like a clung clung clung like broken irons...
in the first time i thought that my driveshafts broken and i lost the balls of the driveshafts...
but i checked many many times...
the driveshafts are from the same mr2 and conect to celica st185 shafts and its perfect for corollas and mines work good with corect dimensions etc...

when the car its on the air by jack and start it and the wheels turning ,it works perfect and no noises... with all the gears 1st to 5th...

this noise it is doing also to the straight road when i turn the steering a little makes little noise... krrr trrr klr klr

when i turn too much makes too much... clung clung clung....

i thing the gearbox stuck...
stuck the discs inside the lsd...

or if i have a cusco lsd is the corect noise?

toyota usa recomented to me to ptu 75W90 GL-3 LSD gearbox oil...
i bought TRD 75W90 GL-3 LSD gearbox oil....

i just want opinios what can i do with this...
do u thing its a damage?

or its a oil problem? i heart that cusco lsd works only with cusco oils...
